My name is Asha McJunkin-Burton. I am the proud owner of Joy & Kel LLC. We are a small business in New York City, that I run with my family. We would like to thank you for visiting our website and for your support.
THE HISTORY OF THE COMPANY
my journey started about 10 years ago making cleaning products for my friends and family. It was healing to see the people i love, enjoy my products. in 2020, When the pandemic occurred, I had more time to explore making other natural products (i.e. soaps, lotions etc.). i began with making artisan styled soaps and introduced other natural skincare products as well.
This journey has encouraged me to advance my skills and creativity to share with everyone.
our company name, Joy & Kel LLC, is named after my parents Joycelyn & Kelvin McJunkin.
My dad, Kelvin was a highly intelligent man and an excellent creative chef. My mom, Joycelyn was a mastermind of creativity, she would make homemade curtains, frames, seat covers, remodeling and could build almost anything from scratch. They were both about building family dynamics mostly on love and unity. With my dad’s brainpower, my mom’s creativity, and my determination, naming it after them was the greatest fit.
OUR MISSION
Our company’s goal is to create luxurious handcrafted products that is dedicated to giving you “The Relaxing Experience”. We concentrate on offering you with superior products affordable pricing, along with details and consistency. Many of our products are formulated from sustainable oils, nuts, butters, clays, fresh fruits and vegetables that are beneficial to all types of skin; as well as skin-safe essential and fragrance oils.
